Your own copy of every mailbox
Mail, files and chats copied 3 times daily and kept a year.

Microsoft and Google keep the service running. Deleted items sit in a recycle bin for a limited time, then they are gone for good. We keep your own copy, apart from theirs.
The recycle bin has a clock
Microsoft’s support documentation says that in SharePoint, “items are retained for 93 days from the time you delete them from their original location.” After that, they are gone. A folder deleted in January and missed until May cannot come back from the bin.
What your own copy gives back
Past the bin
Deleted mail, files and chats stay restorable for 1 year by default, up to 7 years if you choose.
Leavers stay restorable
On Microsoft 365, a leaver’s mailbox and OneDrive stay in the backup at no extra cost.
One item or everything
Restore one email, one file or a whole mailbox, into the same account or a different one.
Outside the suite
Our copy sits outside Microsoft and Google, with a locked copy no admin account can delete for 30 days.
What we copy, and how long
Microsoft 365 Backup
Mail, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, kept 1 year by default.
Google Workspace Backup
Gmail, Drive and shared drives, restored to any account.
Long-term retention
Copies kept past 1 year when your records policy asks.
Co-managed with your IT
Your IT team keeps admin rights; we run copies and restores.
Every cloud backup includes
Admin consent only
We connect with an admin’s approval. No agent on any laptop, and no change to how staff work.
Copies 3 times daily
Every user’s mail, files and chats are copied 3 times a day, weekends included.
Two encrypted regions
AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit, and a locked copy at least 500 miles from the first.
Restores on request
Email support@ezbre.com. Our target for a single mail item or file is 1 business hour.
A one-page report
Each month: users covered, copies made, any failures, and what we fixed.
Example: a leaver’s mailbox, five months on
A 60-person freight brokerage runs entirely on Microsoft 365. In week 1 we map 60 mailboxes, 4 shared mailboxes and 11 SharePoint sites, and agree that mail can lose half a day at most. On day 10 we restore one mailbox to prove the copy; it takes 38 minutes. In June a carrier disputes a rate quoted by a sales manager who left in January. That mailbox and OneDrive are still in the backup, and the operations director is searching them the same afternoon.

Per user per month for Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, copied 3 times a day with 1 year of retention, extendable to 7 years. Month to month, itemized, and no setup fee on plans.
Cloud app backup questions, answered
Doesn’t Microsoft already back up Microsoft 365?
Not in the way most owners assume. Microsoft keeps the service running, and its support documentation says deleted SharePoint items are “retained for 93 days from the time you delete them from their original location.” Even the Microsoft Services Agreement, in section 6.b on consumer services, says, “We recommend that you regularly backup Your Content and Data.” We keep the copy that outlasts the bin.
What about Google Workspace?
The same logic applies. Deleted Gmail and Drive items sit in the trash and in admin restore tools for a limited time, then they are gone. Google Workspace Backup copies Gmail, Drive, shared drives, Calendar and Contacts 3 times a day, keeps them for 1 year, extendable to 7, and restores into the same account or a different one.
Does the backup cover shared mailboxes and Teams?
Yes. Microsoft 365 Backup covers user and shared mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint sites, and Teams chats and files. Teams files live in SharePoint, so they come back as normal files. Chats come back as a readable export you can search and keep, rather than into the live chat window.
What happens when someone leaves?
Their data stays in the backup. On Microsoft 365, a departed user’s mailbox and OneDrive are kept at no extra cost for as long as the backup is kept, so you can free the license straight away. On Google Workspace, tell us before you delete the account and we confirm a final copy first.
How long do you keep cloud app copies?
One year by default, for every user. If your records policy asks for longer, we extend it to as much as 7 years; your compliance officer or counsel decides the right period. The immutable copy in our second region is locked for 30 days, so nobody can shorten that window by accident.
Does this make our clinic HIPAA compliant?
We cannot tell you that, and a backup provider should not. Your compliance officer decides what your practice needs. We sign a business associate agreement on request, complete your security questionnaire, and keep copies encrypted with AES-256 in two US regions. We do not claim any certification.
