Casper backups, with a standby ready

Remote service, cloud standby, and visits booked ahead from Cheyenne.

A fly-fishing reel in close-up, the backing line spooled under the main line, with a river blurred behind it.

Casper is a long drive up I-25, so we plan around it. On Standby Recovery a failed server runs in our cloud, with a 4-hour target, while hardware visits are booked ahead.

How we serve Casper from Cheyenne

  • Remote from day one

Setup runs on screen shares, and a typical 25-person office sees its first proven restore 10 business days in.

  • Cloud standby for servers

Standby Recovery boots a failed server as a cloud machine, so the office keeps working while parts ship.

  • Booked hardware visits

An engineer drives up on an agreed date, from $150 per hour with a 2-hour minimum.

Planning around the distance

  • Weather and the drive

Winter weather on I-25 can move a booked visit. If it does, we start the restore remotely and rebook.

  • Hands in your office

Someone on staff can plug in a drive or restart a box while an engineer guides them on video.

  • After-hours restore requests

Server Backup clients can email “URGENT” to support@ezbre.com any day of the year; we answer within 2 hours.

Casper questions, answered

How do on-site visits to Casper work?

By appointment. Email support@ezbre.com with the work needed, and we agree a date and the expected hours in writing before driving up. Visits are billed from $150 per hour with a 2-hour minimum, indicative and before sales tax. Anything urgent starts remotely, so the visit is for hardware, not for getting files back.

What if our server fails and nobody can drive up that day?

On Standby Recovery, the failed server boots as a cloud virtual machine, with a target of 4 hours, and your staff connect over a secure tunnel. It can run that way for up to 30 days per incident while new hardware arrives. A written failback plan then moves it home again.

Do you only serve Casper itself?

No. We work remotely with businesses anywhere in Wyoming and the rest of the United States. On-site visits are offered in Casper and its neighbors, such as Mills, Evansville and Bar Nunn, on the same appointment basis. Elsewhere the service runs fully remote, with Standby Recovery for servers that cannot wait for a visit.
