Every revision of every model, kept
Large project files versioned hourly, without choking the studio’s internet.

A studio’s value sits in its revisions: the set the client approved, and the one before it. We keep hourly versions of every project and prove each quarter that one restores whole.
Why studio files are different
Projects measured in terabytes
Models, point clouds and renders fill a NAS fast. Extra storage is $15 per TB a month, priced upfront.
A thin office uplink
Pushing several terabytes over a small business line takes weeks. A shipped encrypted drive carries the first copy instead.
Sync overwrites a model
When two people save the same model through sync, one change wins. Team Sync keeps 180 days of versions.
Caches and render output
Caches and render frames can be rebuilt. We leave them out by agreement, so storage pays for real work.
Plans sized for big files
Server Backup
Nightly images and hourly versions of the project NAS or file server, 1 TB included.
Team Sync
Shared project folders with 180 days of versions and a nightly backup underneath.
Workstation Backup
Designers’ laptops copy local work hourly, including files not yet saved to the server.
Immutable Offsite Copy
Already run a NAS backup? Add a locked copy in a second US region.
From first drive to first drill
- Week 1
Map projects and sizes
We measure each share, agree which projects need hourly versions, and decide what can be left out.
- Weeks 2 to 3
Seed by drive
The first copy goes onto an encrypted drive that ships to our second region. After that, only changes travel online.
- Each quarter
Restore a whole project
We restore a full project folder, a mailbox and one workstation, time each, and send the result within 3 business days.
Questions studios ask about big files
How do you back up several terabytes over our internet line?
We do not send the first copy over the line. It goes onto an encrypted drive that ships to our second region, and after that only changed blocks travel online each night. Daily changes are usually a small share of the total, so a normal business connection keeps up.
Can you restore an older version of a model?
Yes, by date and time. Workstations keep 90 days of hourly versions, file servers keep hourly versions plus 30 daily, 12 monthly and 7 yearly copies, and Team Sync keeps 180 days. Email support@ezbre.com with the file and the time you want. Our target for a single file is 1 business hour.
Do you back up our hosted CAD or BIM collaboration platform?
Not directly, unless it lives in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Files your team syncs down to a server or NAS are copied with it. For a hosted platform, we note what the vendor keeps and how long, and show the gap, if there is one, in your recovery map.
How much storage will we pay for?
Server Backup includes 1 TB per server, and extra storage is $15 per TB per month, billed on what is stored after deduplication and compression. We measure your shares during the free backup check, so the first quote reflects real sizes. The monthly report warns you before a server nears its allowance.
