Onboarding takes 10 business days for a typical 25-person office. It ends with a timed restore and a written result, not an email saying backups are on.
From free check to restore
Business days, for a typical 25-person office.
- Day 0
Free backup check
45 minutes, remote. We review what you back up today, restore one file with you, and send a written page.
- Day 1
Order and recovery map
You sign an itemized order. Your onboarding lead lists every system and agrees a recovery point and time for each.
- Days 2 to 5
Install and connect
Agents go on each device, servers get an image job, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace connects by admin consent.
- Days 6 to 9
First full copy
The first full copy lands in the primary region, then a locked copy goes to a second region at least 500 miles away.
- Day 10
First proven restore
We restore a file, a mailbox and one full system to an isolated space, time it, and send you the result.
What a normal month looks like
Copies run without anyone at your office touching them: laptops every hour, servers every night, cloud apps 3 times a day. When a job fails, an engineer follows up the same business day.
In the first week of each month, your account owner sends one page: what was copied, what failed, and what we fixed.
What you get from us
An onboarding lead
One named person runs your setup and stays your contact for the first 90 days.
An account owner

A recovery map
Every system listed with its recovery point and recovery time, agreed with you on day 1.
A monthly report
One page: copies made, jobs that failed, and what we did about each.
A restore desk
support@ezbre.com, read by US recovery engineers Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain.
An exit in writing
30 days’ notice, a full export at no charge, and written confirmation when our copies are deleted.
Onboarding questions, answered
What do we need to do during onboarding?
About two hours of your time across the 10 days. Someone with admin rights approves the cloud app connection and lets us install agents, and someone who knows the business spends an hour with us on the recovery map. Everything else, including the first full copy, runs without your staff.
What if our internet connection is slow?
We seed the first copy on an encrypted drive. Your data is copied to the drive at your office, shipped to our second region and loaded there; after that, only changes travel over your connection. Shipping can add a few business days to onboarding, and we tell you on day 1 if it will.
Can we keep our current backup running until yours is proven?
Yes, and we recommend it. Keep your current backup running until day 10, when we have restored from ours and sent you the result. Then we help you switch the old one off, or keep it as a local copy if it still earns its place.
Does onboarding take longer for bigger offices?
Sometimes. The 10 business days assume a typical 25-person office with one or two servers. A company with several sites, or a server holding many terabytes, can take longer, mostly because the first full copy has more to move. Your onboarding lead gives you a written date on day 1.
Who do we talk to after onboarding?
Your account owner, a named engineer who reads your monthly report. Your onboarding lead stays your contact for the first 90 days, then hands over. For restores, email support@ezbre.com at any point; it reaches the recovery engineers on duty.
